Yeah, 2 Chainz is pretty much everywhere at the moment. Not only is he hopping on tracks with your favorite rapper, but he’s also assisting R&B songstresses as well.

U Did That is an awesome record and sounds even better featuring the Atlanta emcee. The 24-year-old songstress, who’s signed to songwriter Rico Love’s Division I imprint, delivers a more sexified version of herself in the clip, as she shows off her curves in a barely-there outfit and gyrates with a male dancer.

Rico Love, the producer of “U Did That,” supported his artist’s decision to heat things up on set. “I’m such a fan of Teairra and I love the visual for this song,” he states. “I feel like it captures a more mature Teairra. She has a a lot to prove and she’s up for the task. I support her 100 percent.”

Setting sights on the release of his 11th studio album, R. Kelly has unveiled the offocial album cover and track list for Write Me Back. Due June 26, the piece will contain twelve tracks wich features only one guest contribution from Young Jeezy. News: Kanye West Announces a “Cruel Summer”

Kanye West brings forth details on two of his highly anticipated and much speculated projects, and as it turns out, both are linked to one another. In a press release, Yeezy has revealed that his upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation will be titled Cruel Summer. The piece will be accompanied by a film which is inspired by the group album. The visual companion is scheduled to debut May 23 in Cannes and will be presented by West and his DONDA collective (it’s alive!) and will be an “out of competition” film. The press release for the film promises “a fusion of short film and art installation” and an “immersive seven-screen experience.” Following its premiere showing, the film and art installation will remain open to the public for two days.

News: Jay-Z And Kanye To Throw £500k London Party

Jay-Z and Kanye West are reportedly planning to throw a party worth up to half a million pounds after their gig at London’s O2 Arena this Friday.

The Watch The Throne duo will commence their European tour in London with an expected sell out arena to hit the O2 and start what will be a monumental achievement in both of their careers. Jay and Yeezy have reportedly put together plans to have one of the biggest after parties yet with a half a million pound budget being put in place.

With the two Hip Hop heavy weights expecting a mere 400 guests including both of their partners Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian, the party is most likely to be the hottest event in London town this Friday evening.

A number of A listers are expected to attend with the likes of Rihanna and J.Cole being rumoured to be flying in just for the party. It remains to be seen as to whether or not any of our local blood will be invited to the star studded event which is sure to be a night to remember if Kanye West has anything to do with it.

The party is expected to be filled to the rafters with beautiful women and fine alcoholic beverages for all to enjoy. Jay-Z is reportedly looking to get a temporary casino licence for the event in order to make his guests have even more fun! One table at the party is set to stretch a whopping £15,000 each so it appears that only the very créme de la créme will be flashing their cash on the night.

“You know it’s interesting. It should be very interesting. I don’t have much to say. It’s interesting when people, you know, are judging singing competitions when they aren’t really singers.”

News: Russell Brand “I Still Love Her”

Russell Brand is opening up from his split from Katy Perry after 14 months of marriage and he’s got a surprisingly positive outlook on the whole divorce:

“I still love her as a human being,” Brand tells Ellen DeGeneres in a new interview airing today. “Sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything. I was very happy to be married with her. She’ s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her.”

Both Russell and Katy have been spotted with new love interests since the split, with Perry most recently being linked to a Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

“You can’t absolutely make everything the way you want it to be in life,” Brand adds. “Sometimes things are just different and then you have to just move with that and try and remain in contact with what is beautiful about yourself and each other with any situation.”

Russell’s closing words about Katy:

“Just remain beautiful. That is still a person I still consider to be beautiful and I have nothing but positivity for her.”

If only all Hollywood splits could be so amicable!

News: Nas Added To Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend

Queensbridge rapper Nas has been added to the line up for Radio 1′s Hackney Weekender this summer.

The news that Nas will be taking to the stage at Radio 1′s big event this summer was broken to listeners of the Ace & Vis show on BBC Radio 1Xtra show this morning. The New York emcee will be headlining the event on Sunday June 24.

Jay-Z and Rihanna will also be headlining on the main stage at the event which is working together with the London 2012 Festival along side other featured artists such as Tinchy Stryder, Sean Paul, Devlin and Azealia Banks.

The line up for Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend is already jam packed with talent and is set to be the best yet with the variety of urban sounds being showcased generating mass publicity and recognition for being one of the most influential festivals of the summer.

With ticket allocation’s already being fully booked, attendees of the festival will no doubt be looking ahead at the performance of Nas who is rumoured to be planning performances of tracks from his upcoming tenth solo studio album titled Life Is Good.

Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend will feature over 100 UK and International artists on six different stages being allocated to various genres of music.

The festival will take place on June 23/24th of this year.

News: Tupac’s Family “Rapper Was NOT Homophobic … He Loved Versace”

Tupac Shakur’s family members believe Suge Knight is dead wrong — the rapper couldn’t have been a homophobe … because he was great friends with Gianni Versace.

Suge has been on a media blitz recently … telling multiple radio stations 2pac ended his professional relationship with a famous hip hop star because Suge believed the rapper was a gay man.

But sources close to the Tupac estate told TMZ … the Shakur family feels very strongly that Suge’s claims are “totally false” … and point to his friendship with the famous designer Gianni Versace, who was an openly gay man.

In fact, Tupac reportedly participated in a Versace fashion show in Italy back in 1996 … and even rocked a Versace suit on the catwalk.
